Range & Pasture Grass ID

 CONTEST DESCRIPTION 

The Range and Pasture Grass Identification Contest is typically held indoors and involves contestants using a 50-grass scorecard to identify and classify grass specimens based on their characteristics. Participants must correctly spell the grass names and categorize each specimen according to its life span, growth season, origin, and suitability for livestock and wildlife. This contest tests participants’ knowledge of grasses and their ability to assess important attributes for various uses, promoting expertise in the field of plant science and agriculture.
