You also must be enrolled in 4-H one week BEFORE contest date.

Contest Fees: $15 per individual or $60 per team

Age Divisions:
- Junior--3rd through 8th grade on the day of the contest
- Senior--9th through 12th grade on the day of the contest
Contest will follow Texas 4-H Consumer Education Contest Guidelines.
Classes will be created based on the 2023-24 Consumer Study Guide:
- Professional Dress
- Athletic Shoes
- Activewear
- Headphones/Earbuds
- Tablets
- Wireless Portable Speakers
- Outdoor Equipment
- Outdoor Backpacks
- Dental Products
- Fitness Equipment
- Televisions
- Grocery Meats
Contestants will judge 6 classes. Reasons classes will be marked and announced at orientation.
Juniors will be placing only, no reasons
Seniors will give 2 sets of reasons

Age Divisions:
- Junior--3rd through 5th grade on the day of the contest
- Intermediate--6th through 8th grade on the day of the contest
- Senior--9th through 12th grade on the day of the contest
Teams will have 3-4 members. If a team has members from different age divisions, the team must compete in the division of the oldest team member.
