AGE GROUPS & TEAMS
Junior--Grades 3-5
Intermediate--Grades 6-8
Senior--Grades 9-12
Teams must be made up of 3-4 4-H members.
Juniors can move up to compete on an Intermediate team, but the team must compete as an Intermediate.
Seniors can only be on teams with Seniors.

COST
$15 per person
If you sold 10 or more raffle tickets in 2024, or are a first-year 4-H'er, then your fees are covered by the Lynn County Adult Leaders Association. If you register for the contest but do not end up competing, then you will be responsible for reimbursing your entry fee and will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H.
If you did not sell raffle tickets, then you will be responsible for paying your entry fee. You will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H. If you end up not competing, then you are still responsible for paying the entry fee. Those fees are not returned once registration has been completed.
Please ignore any invoices/requests for payment that come from anyone other than Lynn County 4-H.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Senior Division:
Each County may enter as many Senior teams as desired
Teams may consist of either three (3) or four (4) members.
Other county 4-Hers not on a team may enter as individuals.
Eight classes will be judged. It is likely one class will have performance data. Classes will consist of cattle, sheep, swine, and goats.
Senior contestants will talk four (4) sets of oral reasons. It is likely one of these sets will be with performance data.
Intermediate Division:
Each County may enter as many Intermediate teams as desired
Teams may consist of either three (3) or four (4) members.
Other county 4-Hers not on a team may enter as individuals.
Intermediates will give two sets of oral reasons.
Eight classes will be judged. It is likely one class will have performance data. Classes will consist of cattle, sheep, swine, and goats.
Juniors who move up to an intermediate team but will be expected to talk the two sets of reasons.
Junior Division:
Each County may enter as many Junior teams as desired
Teams may consist of either three (3) or four (4) members.
Other county 4-Hers not on a team may enter as individuals.
Juniors will not give reasons.
Eight Classes will be judged (likely one with performance data). Classes will consist of cattle, sheep, swine, and goats
4-H'ers competing will be excused from school on Friday, May 2, 2025. The Extension Office will notify the school and check grade eligibility.
You will need a #2 pencil and clipboard for this contest. Sierra will provide those for you.
