Photography Judging Contest
CONTEST DESCRIPTION
The Texas 4-H Photography Judging contest allows 4-H members to demonstrate skills in the evaluation, selection, and placing of photographs based on industry standards and expectations. The 4-H members participating in the contest will judge six classes of photographs and two classes of problems, testing both the participant’s knowledge and skills in the photography project. Oral reasons were added to the contest in 2023. Oral reasons will be presented over TWO placing classes.

CONTEST FEES & COSTS
Fees for Texas 4-H Roundup are:
Youth All-Inclusive: $120
Youth Day Pass: $50
Adult All-Inclusive: $75
Adult Day Pass: $30
Plus travel costs to College Station
If you sold 10 or more raffle tickets in 2024, or are a first-year 4-H'er, then your fees are covered by the Lynn County Adult Leaders Association. If you register for the contest but do not end up competing, then you will be responsible for reimbursing your entry fee and will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H.
If you did not sell raffle tickets, then you will be responsible for paying your entry fee. You will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H. If you end up not competing, then you are still responsible for paying the entry fee. Those fees are not returned once registration has been completed.
Please ignore any invoices/requests for payment that come from anyone other than Lynn County 4-H.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This is an Invitational Contest, therefore there is no qualifying event prior to Roundup.
There will be 6 classes of photos to judge, 2 photo problems classes, and 2 sets of oral reasons.
