All 1st place winners at the County Photography Contest will automatically advance to the Texas 4-H Photography Contest.

JUNIORS & INTERMEDIATES: First place winners in each category in each age group will automatically advance to the District 4-H Photography Contest.
SENIORS: First place winners in each category will automatically advance to the District AND Texas 4-H Photography Contest.
DISTRICT CONTEST INFORMATION
Contest is virtual.
Judging will take place mid-April to early-May.
All first place winners in each category in each age group will be competing on the district level.

AGE GROUPS
Juniors -- Grades 3-5
Intermediates -- Grades 6-8
Seniors -- Grades 9-12

COST
$10 per picture
If you sold 10 or more raffle tickets in 2024, or are a first-year 4-H'er, then your fees are covered by the Lynn County Adult Leaders Association. If you register for the contest but do not end up competing, then you will be responsible for reimbursing your entry fee and will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H.
If you did not sell raffle tickets, then you will be responsible for paying your entry fee. You will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H. If you end up not competing, then you are still responsible for paying the entry fee. Those fees are not returned once registration has been completed.
Please ignore any invoices/requests for payment that come from anyone other than Lynn County 4-H.

GENERAL INFORMATION
There are new categories--please refer to the 2025 Rules & Guidelines for a complete description of categories.
The Extension Office will take care of entering your photos for you.
The Extension Office will be checking each 4-H'ers grades at their school to make sure all participants are eligible according to UIL rules.
If you have any questions about the category your photo should be entered, please contact Kaci BEFORE you complete your county entry form. Categories cannot be changed once entries are closed.
Each county is only allowed to submit one photo per category per age group for District judging.
