District Opportunities

 DISTRICT 2 COUNCIL  ELECTIONS  

DEADLINE TO APPLY: WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2025 AT 11:59 PM

WHAT IS DISTRICT COUNCIL?

• The District Council, made up of representatives from across the district, provides leadership for the district 4-H program. 

• District Council officers will have duties at district contests, events, community service events, and more. 

• Members elected to President or Vice President will be automatically placed on the Texas 4-H Council. 

• Officer elections are held at the North Region Power Camp.

OFFICER QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least a sophomore in high school as of August 2025 to serve on the council.

• Be 16 as of August 2025 to run for President or Vice-President.

• D2 4-H Council 2025-26 Application

• D2 4-H Council Officer Commitment Form

• 2 Letters of Recommendation--emailed to cari.snider@ag.tamu.edu

• a headshot photo--emailed to cari.snider@ag.tamu.edu
