Candidates for Ambassador must complete an application and interview in order to be considered.

Interviews will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2024 at the Lynn County Extension Office. If you cannot be there, we can make arrangements for a virtual interview.

GENERAL INFORMATION
WHAT IS A LYNN COUNTY 4-H AMBASSADOR?
A member of a county-level leadership team consisting of 12 older 4-H'ers who are the image of the Lynn County 4-H program
This is a leadership and public relations position. We are looking for older 4-Hers who are dedicated to showcasing and promoting our 4-H program to the public.
Ambassadors are excellent public speakers, are not afraid to talk to stakeholders and community members, and who are dedicated to recruitment and public relations.

WHO CAN BE AN AMBASSADOR?
Lynn County 4-H'ers who are in the 7th-12th grades in the 2024-25 school year
Must have been a member of 4-H for the previous year
Must have participated in at least one District contest or event within the previous year
Must be academically eligible
Must be in good standing as a 4-H member

WHAT DOES AN AMBASSADOR DO?
Attend county events (i.e. Achievement Banquet, Kick-Off Events, Golf Tournament, etc.)
Coordinate National 4-H Week events
Promote Lynn County 4-H program
Maintain the 4-H Clover Chat podcast
