TEXAS 4-H AMBASSADOR PROGRAMS
The Texas 4-H Ambassador Programs are designed to provide high school-aged 4-H members with opportunities to develop and practice advanced leadership skills, mentor other youth, and become advocates for their particular subject area. Each program is unique to their project area and 4-H'ers must apply to be chosen.

TEXAS 4-H BEEKEEPING ESSAY CONTEST
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: SUNDAY, APRIL 21, 2024 BY 11:59 PM.
The Texas 4-H Beekeeping Essay is a contest sponsored by The Foundation for the Preservation of Honey Bees, Inc. The Texas winner will advance to the National competition. Don't miss your chance to win cash prizes! Winners will be announced the week of April 29, 2024.

2025 STATES' 4-H INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE SUMMER HOSTING PROGRAM
The Texas 4-H Program is proud to announce the 2025 States' 4-H International Exchange Summer Hosting Program! For over 20 years, Texan families have opened their hearts and homes to international youth across the globe, sharing our rich Texan culture and learning about theirs.
Program Details:
Interested host families & host siblings must commit to a 4-week homestay for a Japanese youth (12-18 yrs.). The host period will take place over the summer (July 23-August 16, 2025).
Families must have a child of the same gender and within 4 years of the hosted youth. Families without children may host an adult chaperone for a 2-week or 4-week homestay.
