Expectations
Membership on the Texas 4Â-H STEM Ambassador team requires a significant amount of time throughout the year. This involves activities such as corresponding via email, orientations, trainings, and performing the tasks necessary to make the team successful. You should plan to spend approximately $800 to $1,000 over your term of service. This includes registration fees for face-to-face meetings, workshops, Texas 4-H Roundup, Texas 4-H Congress, apparel, lodging, meals, and other presentations. This does not include travel and/or expenses for family members who may be chaperoning or transporting to and from events. Members must be willing to commit the necessary time. If you will not be able to fully participate, consider whether this is a good year to apply. Membership on the team may require you to decrease time in other activities. Please understand that you will need to prioritize time for the STEM Ambassador team over other activities.
